Dear Lavalife, I met the love of my life on March 22, 2007. She messaged me first - we talked online for a week and met for a drink one day after work. We immediately connected. While getting to know each other, we discovered that not only did we know at least half a dozen of the same people, but we'd been at more than one of the same events. After six months, we moved in together, and a year later I asked her to marry me. We share the same taste in movies and music, but our personalities are different enough to complement one another.
